How to Not Give Your Power Away

You will meet people along your journey that will teach you lessons.

Some of these people will be your loyal soul tribe who align with what you stand for. Some will be your support group who will be there for you when you need guidance and validation for your experience. And unfortunately, there will be some people who will have a negative influence in your life.

These are the people who will trigger your pain and your deepest wounds.

Or they may betray you when you least expect it. They may trigger you to question your faith and the path you’re following. All of these different kinds of people, whether good or bad, are teachers on your path. They are all teaching you very valuable (albeit hard) life lessons.

Lessons to be Learned

Some people will teach you lessons in love and genuine friendship and some will teach you lessons in trust.

It might be hard to deal with the people who teach you lessons about your own darkness, but they are all equally important. The key is not to get too caught up in the ego mind during these shadow experiences.

These sometimes hard and life-changing lessons are opportunities for us to grow above and beyond the barriers of the ego.
